Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
Children are admitted to Oxhill Nursery in line with Durham County Council’s admissions policy. We then work with partnership services to develop an Individual Support Plan for the child, which allows them to achieve their full potential. At Oxhill Nursery School we have a commitment to ensuring that all our children have equal opportunity to access all aspects of our curriculum. We welcome any suggestions as to how we can further improve our provision.
Oxhill Nursery School is a large, spacious, Victorian building with a range of adaptations to ensure that it is accessible to all. further information can be found by viewing our SEN Policy and Equality Policy in the School Policies section of our website.
If you would like to discuss your SEND requirements in detail please contact the school to arrange an appointment.
